Make a Difference Today!

Our vision is to ensure that all kids have access to a SafeKidsKit.

Our mission is to partner with charities, donors and businesses to ensure that vulnerable kids have access to essential PPE in order to safely return to school and their community.

Our values: Safety, empathy and service.

Our Story

My name is Isabella and in July 2012 our family, (Isabella, Michael, Elizabeth & David), relocated from Toronto Canada to Bonao Dominican Republic for my dads work.  I was eight years old and my brother Michael was four - we didn't speak a word of Spanish and had never lived in another country.  I remember the first time I visited a local girls orphanage. It was located in a remote area and the playground would never pass basic safety standards in Canada.  It was small and minimal, but it provided a place away from their difficult homes, daily meals, shelter and basic educational programs. Living on a beautiful island, where many kids had limited access to basic things, inspired my brother and I to dedicate our time and resources to helping others.  During our six years in the DR we became passionate about helping others. When we returned to Canada in 2017, we continued to volunteer in our community and serve others. When CV19  happened, it changed everything for everyone.  Our passion to help those in need grew and that is how SafeKidsKit was born.

Mask Display

Wearing a mask, frequently washing our hands and squirting

hand sanitizer is the new reality for most of us.   Continued

vigilance is required by everyone in order to prevent further outbreaks and this is especially true for kids.

SafeKidsKit supports our new realty by assembling and distributing kits from donations we receive to vulnerable kids.  Safe Kids Kits may include:

  • Reusable masks that can be washed daily and are environmentally friendly.

  • A belt bag/fanny pack/packback where kids can store their masks (when they are eating, going out for recess, or during physical education class). Soiled masks can be stored in a

  • sealed ziplock bag in the kids kit.

  • Hand Sanitizer.
